While searching on Amazon for a converter to take to S Africa. I found many products that offered plug/usb charging options, etc. I also found that many of the reviews complained that the item didn't work when they arrived to the country they purchased it for. I opted to go with a simple plug converter and I'm so glad I did. I purchased two and they both worked fine in many outlets during my 11 day stay. I'm happy to say that you won't be disappointed with this basic converter. Sometimes less is MORE =)
These are very solid and durable. Perfect for plugging US style plugs into, they hold very tightly too.
Does what it is meant to do, and well at it.
will test in a week, looks solid cant see that it will not work. will change review if needed.note, makes sure your stuff can work with 220v it usually does. i do recommend this over over the type C witch you can also use in south Africa.don't buy the ones with multi modes they ****. this is affordable and you wont regret it
