the adapters worked fine
Very quick delivery (without additional cost). Good products, seem to have been very well-made. We bought three each of type M and type D adapters. Could have done without the type D (as all the places we stated in in Namibia had type M outlets). Who 'd a thunk?
All three adapters in good quality and worked great in South Africa.
One of the 3 unit has a rather intermittent connection - had to really plug/connect at a particular position. 2 worked well. I suggest you take all on travelling.

The Type M plug adapter set can be used in the following countries: SOUTH AFRICA, NAMIBIA (BOTSWANA, ZAMBIA use this Type M Plug and Type G standard. Lesotho, Mozambique and Swaziland use both Type D and Type M standard). (Larger/older electrical installations in India, England, Ireland still use this old BS546 standard). The input is a universal receptacle that accepts all types of connectors (Including: 2-Prong US "polarized", 3-Prong US grounded, European, UK, AUS and India plug standards. But not the large South African plug). The South Africa travel adapter does not change the Voltage. Please check the voltage standard for the travel destination and use a Voltage converter with the South Africa travel adapter if needed. (example, Europe use mainly 230 Volts). Many electrical devices such as AC/DC chargers for Laptops, cameras etc. allow a multi range Voltage (110-240 Volts) and eliminate the need of a Voltage converter. Sometimes electrical device have a switch for either 120 or 230 Volts (remember to set back!). Please check the specifications on your equipment before plugging into the type M plug adapter set. Powering a 120 Volts device with 230 Volts can destroy the equipment and cause fire.
