Nothing bad about the quality
I needed a 30A extension power cable for my trailer, so when this became available, I decided to order it. Here is what I found:1. This is a nice cable that is quite flexible considering the size of the conductors.2. The plug ends have easy to use hand holds (see pictures) to make disconnecting the cables much easier! Without those holds the cables are a real pain to get apart, especially if they are wet.3. The length is such that when combined with my trailer cable I can reach connections anywhere on the RV pad.I am very pleased with this cable and only time will tell how well it holds up. But from what I have seen so far, I expect this cable to last a very long time. I would recommend it if you have the need.
I don’t have an RV, but I do have a 220v welder, so I grabbed this cord to be able to run it outside using my dryer outlet. Unplugging the dryer and plugging in this cord guarantees that I will never use both at the same time, which is a plus in my situation. Otherwise I would have to add a breaker to my panel just for the welder. Even though I had to chop the connectors and replace with the correct ones for my outlets, I think I am ahead of the game cost-wise.
While it's kind of past the RV season to actually test this, there's really nothing to say until it's been used for a few seasons anyway. For some reason they don't show it in the photos or mention it in the description, but the extension end has a molded-in handle. The convenience of those to grab and pull apart can't be underestimated when you hit one of those really tight connector ends.
We use this 30-amp RV extension cord to plug into 30-amp shore power as well as into an adapter that plugs into our garage at times. Both configurations work great for this cord. It is very sturdy and durable. It is a nice heavy but not too heavy weight. Both male and female fit well with our existing equipment by Jayco Greyhawk and Campco.
